Job description
Overview
Our client, a Dublin-based international manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Group FP&A Analyst to join their high-profile Group FP&A team. Reporting directly to the Head of Group FP&A, you will enhance understanding of key performance drivers and collaborate closely with Head Office departments.
Key Duties
- Enhance management reporting packs by automating processes and creating data visualizations that translate data into actionable insights.
- Oversee the annual budgeting, planning roadmap, and quarterly forecasting cycles for Head Office functions, working in close partnership with the IT team.
- Support month-end processes and track performance against planned objectives within the Head Office.
- Assist in preparing monthly presentations for the Group Executive and Board reports.
- Collaborate with divisional finance units to evaluate performance and emerging trends.
- Manage reporting related to headcount, conduct benchmarking exercises, and forecast cash flow and associated analyses.
- Follow through on corrective action plans with various business units.
- Participate in strategic projects including mergers and acquisitions, development of business cases, capital investment proposals, and conducting competitive and industry research.
Candidate Profile
- Must be a qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA certification.
- Possess over three years of experience in industry finance roles; prior experience in FP&A is beneficial.
- Familiarity with tools such as Cognos, SAP, Power BI, or comparable planning and data analytics applications is an advantage.
- Demonstrate an analytical approach with confidence to challenge assumptions and distill complex data into clear explanations.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with proven competency in partnering with all organizational levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines effectively.
