About the Company
Our client is a rapidly growing fintech company specializing in lending and leasing for industrial projects across Europe and the US. They are expanding their finance team and need a newly qualified Financial Accountant to join.
Job Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer advances and receipts.
- Maintain and review the outstanding payables and receivables lists, highlighting ageing items for follow-up.
- Manage external debt facilities including drawdowns, debt servicing payments, and preparing covenant compliance reports for lenders.
- Assist the pricing team by calculating amounts due for debt and equity in new financial transactions.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts in collaboration with the corporate service provider, aiming for eventual in-house control.
- Establish efficient processes and data flows for the newly created Luxembourg fund structure.
- Keep loan and lease schedules updated and reconciled with contracts, coordinating with external tax advisors for customer invoicing across multiple jurisdictions.
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures and ensure accurate record-keeping to support audit and regulatory reporting.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and perform ad hoc analyses including pricing and fundraising assistance.
Candidate Profile
- Recently qualified accountant with up to two years post-qualification experience.
- Proficient with accounting software and strong skills in Excel, including using formulas, performing reconciliations, and creating clear schedules.
- Highly detail-oriented and numerate, capable of working independently following control processes.
- Experience in fund management, asset management, or corporate service provider/fund administration roles is advantageous.
- Prior involvement in audit support or transitioning accounting processes from external providers to in-house is desirable.
Additional Information
Salary ranges from €60,000 to €75,000 annually, dependent on experience. The role offers a hybrid work model with one day onsite in Dublin.
