Our mission focuses on simplifying team management and enhancing restaurant performance, aiming to foster a flourishing restaurant industry empowered by connected and engaged teams.
Role Overview
As a Founding Business Development Representative focusing on the Mid-Market segment, you will spearhead new client acquisition targeting restaurant groups operating 10 or more locations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales Development SMB & Mid-Market, your primary responsibility is to create and qualify sales opportunities for the Mid-Market Account Executive team by engaging with operators and executives managing multi-unit and enterprise brands. This position offers the opportunity to develop and define your own sales strategies and processes, helping to establish scalable motions for mid-market and enterprise categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate robust sales pipeline aimed at mid-market expansion by booking qualified meetings with restaurant groups owning 10+ locations to support the account executive team.
- Utilize diverse outreach methods including phone, email, social media, network events, and personal connections to penetrate target accounts effectively.
- Manage and nurture your portfolio of accounts using Salesforce for research and closely engage decision-makers and operators responsible for contract signings.
- Leverage AI-powered prospecting tools and internal data insights to identify high-potential prospects, personalize communications at scale, and optimize daily activities for maximum impact.
- Consistently achieve and surpass assigned targets by maintaining the quality and volume of pipeline and securing meetings that convert into genuine sales prospects.
- Contribute to building the sales process and playbook by identifying successful tactics, raising concerns on ineffective methods, and refining repeatable strategies as the market segment grows.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in quota-driven outbound sales, preferably within B2B SaaS environments, with a demonstrable history of successful new pipeline generation.
- Background in the restaurant industry, with a solid understanding of the mindset and needs of operators and multi-unit leadership, enabling you to communicate effectively within the sector.
- A proactive and resourceful approach marked by hustle and creativity to navigate competitive inboxes and secure meetings through networking.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills paired with empathetic listening to establish strong customer connections.
- Well-developed organizational skills capable of prioritizing accounts and structuring workload independently in the absence of predefined playbooks.
- A record of accomplishments or competitive achievements and a collaborative team spirit.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with restaurant technologies such as POS systems, payroll, online ordering, reservation management, or tip handling, alongside knowledge of restaurant operations, labor regulations, and tip pooling practices.
- Experience using sales engagement or sequence management tools like Outreach or Salesloft.
Additional Information
This is an active vacancy within the company's current recruitment plan.
