Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate senior engineers and AI practitioners to build an inclusive, motivated, and high-achieving engineering organization.
• Manage team performance, set objectives, conduct feedback sessions, orchestrate career growth, and handle talent management strategies.
• Ensure delivery success across multiple forward-deployed customer projects, maintaining high technical standards and client satisfaction.
• Define technical vision and architectural guidelines in partnership with senior technical leaders.
• Serve as an escalation point for delivery challenges and customer issues, providing decisive resolutions.
• Develop and nurture strong rapport with senior customers and SAP executives, advocating for essential resources.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding initiatives for engineering talent across AI, data science, and software disciplines.
• Collaborate with product, regional, and go-to-market leadership to align team capabilities with business priorities.
• Promote engineering best practices, ethics in AI, and continuous learning within the team culture.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience managing senior engineering teams with proven success in building engaged, inclusive, and high-performing groups.
• Robust technical expertise in AI, machine learning, data engineering, or software development, qualifying you to influence critical technical choices.
• Familiarity with customer-embedded delivery models and adeptness in handling complex, high-impact client engagements.
• Strong analytical and design thinking capabilities, thriving at balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery accountability.
• Demonstrated proficiency in talent development, navigating complex organizations, and aligning diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with Agentic AI frameworks and their application within teams and client settings.
• Skillful in recruiting and scaling diverse engineering teams across geographies, with a commitment to inclusion.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills to effectively engage engineers, executives, and clients.
• Knowledge of SAP's AI platforms and enterprise AI environment is an advantage.
