Role Overview

We seek a personable Forward Deployed Engineer to engage directly with clients, crafting tailored technical solutions that meet their specific needs. This multifaceted role blends programming proficiency with deep insurance and insurtech domain knowledge, combining engineering, sales, and client success functions.

Successful candidates will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams, driving pilot projects crucial to our expansion efforts. We welcome engineers of all experience levels eager to contribute to our mission.

This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days weekly at our headquarters in Harrow or client sites in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs of prospective partners and clients, translating them into technical solutions using our domain-specific spreadsheet-like functional language, Brossa.
• Encode, configure, and deliver formal insurance product specifications across various lines such as marine, aviation, and political violence.
• Work closely across teams to design technical solutions aligned with client strategies and customize our platform accordingly.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of our product suite to offer strategic advice.
• Present product value effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage platform integrations and provide ongoing technical assistance.
