Forward Deployed Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join an ambitious AI enterprise valued at $5 billion. Operating globally with over 650 staff and local teams in numerous countries, this rapidly growing company combines a comprehensive AI platform with localized deployment to accelerate AI integration for large-scale enterprises. The Singapore office serves as the APAC hub, where you will act as the direct engineering contact bringing AI solutions live in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with enterprise clients to identify and prioritize critical operational challenges suitable for AI intervention.
• Translate complex and uncertain business problems into practical technical designs and develop corresponding solutions.
• Deploy the AI platform on customer environments while advising on optimal practices for adoption and usage.
• Construct AI agents that integrate seamlessly with client systems and APIs.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions with client teams to facilitate solution adoption.
• Develop robust, production-ready code supporting integrations and operational workflows.
• Oversee deployments, ensuring system reliability and performance standards are maintained.
• Perform iterative testing using real-world data and refine solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering groups to enhance shared tooling and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• At least 4 years experience in hands-on software engineering with production systems that you have designed, built, and scaled.
• Proficiency in platform integrations, including APIs, cloud infrastructure, managed cloud platforms (MCP), and data workflow management.
• Strong analytical skills to tackle ambiguous, complex problems and interface confidently with customers.
• Outstanding communication abilities accompanied by a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented with a low-ego attitude, thriving in a fast-paced, small team environment that values chemistry as much as skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Background in forward-deployed or solutions engineering roles.
• Experience developing AI agents or automation solutions.
• Familiarity with high-growth startup environments.
• Strong command of cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as TypeScript, Go, or Python.
