Role Overview
The Food Server position is a full-time onsite role based in Doha. Responsibilities include welcoming and guiding guests, presenting menus, clarifying dish details, and recommending items aligned with the Brazilian culinary theme. Daily duties encompass accurately recording orders, liaising with kitchen staff, delivering food and drinks, maintaining table settings, and monitoring guest experience to address special requests or dietary needs. The role also involves payment processing and complying with hygiene, safety, and service protocols, contributing to a warm environment and efficient restaurant operation during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills centered on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Knowledgeable about food and beverage options, with basic familiarity of Brazilian cuisine.
- Experience in food service, including order taking, table service, and POS system usage.
- Clear, professional communication abilities for guest and team interaction.
- Fundamental understanding of cooking or food handling to comprehend menu items and kitchen procedures.
- Capable of standing for prolonged durations and working flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Prior work experience in restaurant or hotel environments preferred; fine dining or themed settings experience is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese or Arabic is beneficial.
- Aware of food safety and hygiene standards; relevant certifications are a plus.
