Food & Consumables Team Associate

Position Overview

The Food and Consumables Team Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by upholding Walmart's foundational beliefs and values. This role involves maintaining and organizing the food and consumables sections, assisting with inventory management, and promoting product sales.

Key Duties

• Organize and zone the department ensuring shelves, tables, and storage units are properly arranged with products in their designated locations.
• Manage stock rotation and inspect items for expiration to maintain product quality.
• Verify that all merchandise is correctly labeled and priced for customer clarity.
• Follow rigorous standards and policies related to cold chain management, including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, food handling protocols, product rotation, and monitoring sell-by and expiration dates.
• Accurately execute procedures involving ordering, clearances, promotions (markups and markdowns), and product signage including labels and flags.

Compensation Details

The starting wage for this position is $16.15 per hour. (Le taux horaire minimum pour ce poste débute à 16.15.)

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
