Food & Beverage Support Expert

Position Overview

At Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, the Food & Beverage Support Expert role extends beyond simply serving meals; it centers on creating memorable and unique guest experiences where food and drinks complement exceptional service. This role involves assisting with various service aspects to ensure smooth food and beverage operations, including table settings, kitchen support, cleaning duties, and supply replenishment. The goal is to make every guest transaction a seamless and enjoyable part of their visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting tables and support kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work areas.
• Replenish supplies as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
• Contribute to a safe and professional workplace by following company policies and quality standards.
• Maintain professional appearance, communication, and attire at all times.

Physical and Operational Expectations

• Be active on foot, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Navigate various floor surfaces safely, including sloped or uneven areas.
• Handle manual tasks such as lifting or moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching overhead or below the knees.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No previous work experience strictly required; however, prior experience in food and beverage settings is preferred.
• No supervisory experience necessary.
• No licensing or certification prerequisites.
