Food & Beverage Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Food & Beverage Associates to join our team at Westin Hotels & Resorts in Kolkata, West Bengal. This role focuses on delivering more than just meals; it centers on creating exceptional and memorable experiences for our guests through outstanding service with food and beverages.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas by setting up tables according to standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and guests to ensure seamless service.
• Serve guests attentively and address their needs promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of workspaces and supplies.
• Assist with handling items up to specified weight limits safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to company policies and quality standards, ensuring a safe and professional environment.

Physical Requirements

• Remain on feet and move around for extended periods, including standing, sitting, or walking on varied surfaces.
• Perform physical tasks involving lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds alone, or 50 pounds with assistance.
• Engage in bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching movements as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of experience in related work.
• No prior supervisory experience is required.
• No mandatory licenses or certifications.
