FMCG CRM Specialist

Role Overview

This position involves managing and maintaining the CRM system to provide precise and dependable data concerning customers, distributors, outlets, sales, and inventory for an FMCG company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the CRM system's integrity with up-to-date customer and sales-related data.
• Create, update, authenticate and maintain records of customers and outlets, including mapping and classifying outlets geographically.
• Record, track, and evaluate sales transactions, purchase and customer orders, and sales metrics from field operations.
• Assist in enrolling and supervising distributors while keeping their records and activities current within the CRM.
• Support pre-sales and van sales teams by troubleshooting CRM login, synchronization, and data-entry problems.
• Supervise the documentation and follow-up of purchase orders throughout the CRM system.
• Monitor inventory data via CRM and investigate inconsistencies between digital records and actual stock to facilitate accurate stock management.
• Produce periodic CRM reports covering sales, order processing, outlet coverage, inventory, distributor outcomes, and other key business indicators to aid management.
• Detect and communicate technical faults in CRM and provide training for sales personnel, promoters, and users regarding correct CRM utilization.
• Track CRM system use, suggest improvements, coordinate with departments on enhancing sales automation, data precision, and overall CRM operations.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a closely related discipline is required for this role.
