Floor Technician

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for the position of Floor Technician at Allegiance Industries, Inc., a leading facility services provider committed to surpassing client expectations. This role is onsite in Valdosta, GA, within a manufacturing and industrial environment.

The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM. We offer on-the-job training, making this opportunity suitable for those seeking a long-term career in the industry or a reliable position to build their next step.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to steam-clean carpets professionally.
• Use appropriate equipment to strip floors effectively.
• Apply wax coatings and buff floors to a polished finish.
• Seal floors properly using recommended sealants.
• Perform deep cleaning of painted floors utilizing suitable chemicals and degreasers.
• Conduct general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and wiping other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash responsibly.
• Handle and relocate heavy equipment and furniture as needed.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in floor care or related cleaning services.
• Good physical endurance and manual dexterity to perform demanding tasks.
• Keen ability to recognize safety hazards and report them to relevant personnel.
• Dependable transportation for commuting to work.
• Capacity to adhere to work schedules and fulfill commitments punctually.
• Able to follow supervisor instructions accurately.
• Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in workplace conduct.
