Job Overview
Take charge as a Floor Manager, playing a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer experiences that surpass expectations. Lead a dedicated team with enthusiasm, setting an inviting and motivating atmosphere that promotes both customer satisfaction and business success. Your leadership drives personalized, sincere, and memorable customer interactions while maintaining operational efficiency and brand standards on the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service through expert styling guidance, comprehensive product knowledge, and engaging retail experiences.
- Analyze sales figures and work closely with the Store Manager to optimize departmental results.
- Lead and inspire a team of Sales Advisors to uphold consistent service excellence and presentation quality.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new hires to ensure thorough integration.
- Identify promising talent within the team and contribute to their growth through development plans.
- Oversee daily store operations to maintain efficiency and compliance with brand expectations.
- Represent the brand as an ambassador, ensuring each customer receives an outstanding shopping experience.
- Assume Store Manager duties when necessary to maintain leadership continuity and store performance.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong customer focus with a passion for engaging shoppers and leading by example in service standards.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the product range and ability to convey this to customers effectively.
- Keen to learn and receptive to feedback for continual personal and professional growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of clear, confident, and empathetic interactions with customers and team members.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills in fast-paced retail environments to consistently meet service goals.
- Proven experience in coaching and providing constructive feedback to support team member development.
- Sound understanding of retail KPIs and ability to use data analytically to enhance performance.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond swiftly to changes in customer needs, inventory, and operational updates.
- Commitment to operational excellence by upholding high standards in store appearance and functionality, enhancing customer feedback and sales.
- Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in English to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Additional Information
This is a full-time role located in Auckland, New Zealand, requiring a 40-hour work week.
