Floor Host

As a Floor Host (also known as Colleague Support Host) based at Southend-On-Sea within the call centre of a leading international bank, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily needs of staff and ensuring smooth operations in the building.

Responsibilities

You will be the face of the workplace for both employees and guests, offering a warm reception and expert guidance on facilities including meeting rooms and amenities. Your duties will include both front of house tasks—such as greeting visitors—and back of house tasks, including regular floor inspections, resetting meeting spaces, and reporting maintenance issues to the facilities team to maintain an effective building operation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive, dependable, and flexible attitude. You should be highly organized, capable of multitasking, and able to build rapport easily with colleagues. Prior background in customer service or facilities management is necessary to thrive in this role.

Working Hours and Compensation

The role involves 40 hours weekly, with shifts scheduled between 6pm and 6am, Monday to Friday. The annual salary for this position is £29,154.
