The Floating Commercial & Property Porter, also known as SOS Commercial & Neighborhood Porter, is an integral part of our Support Operations Specialists (SOS) Team. This team offers flexible management, leasing, and maintenance support throughout our diverse residential portfolio. You will engage with neighborhoods ranging from intimate communities of about 100 units to larger ones with up to 1,000 units. The role challenges you daily with new experiences and opportunities for growth, empowering creative problem-solving alongside a supportive team passionate about people.

Role Responsibilities and Impact

As an SOS Commercial & Neighborhood Porter, your primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness, aesthetics, and curb appeal across residential and commercial areas. You will ensure residents and commercial tenants feel genuinely cared for, fostering pride in their communities and reinforcing a welcoming environment where tomorrow matters.

Key Requirements and Skills

• Prior custodial or residential property experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Effective time management skills to perform duties promptly and independently without direct supervision.
• Strong communication abilities, with proficiency in workplace languages including English, to ensure safety and excellent service for both internal and external customers.
• Physical capability to handle tasks involving standing, walking, climbing, balancing, sitting, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package extends beyond standard pay, considering your location, experience, skills, and qualifications. Below are highlights:

• Hourly wage ranging from $18.50 to $19.75.
