Overview

The Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of fleet sales activities, guiding the sales team to meet targets, and fostering strong customer relationships to enhance retention and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop precise sales forecasts and plans by analyzing historical sales, market trends, and economic indicators using tailored forecasting models.
  • Analyze the automotive fleet market extensively to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats through industry reports and research tools.
  • Formulate competitive pricing strategies factoring volume discounts, contract durations, and total cost of ownership for fleet clients.
  • Apply client segmentation methods to customize sales approaches based on fleet size, industry, and purchasing behaviors.
  • Identify and develop effective sales channels targeting fleet customers, including direct sales, digital platforms, and broker networks.
  • Position Stellantis vehicles effectively by emphasizing features and benefits suited to commercial users.
  • Craft negotiation strategies for sales contracts to maximize profits while meeting client requirements, focusing on terms, warranties, and service agreements.
  • Utilize technology such as CRM and data analytics platforms to streamline fleet sales processes and client management.
  • Incorporate Stellantis’s sustainability initiatives into sales messaging, promoting fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.
  • Promote adoption of new technologies to improve operational efficiency within fleet sales.
  • Implement automation to reduce manual tasks and enhance accuracy in order processing and customer follow-up.
  • Keep the sales team informed on new Stellantis models and their fleet-relevant features.
  • Supervise daily fleet sales operations, coordinating with customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual fleet sales targets align with Stellantis objectives and are consistently achieved.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators reflecting operational efficiency.
  • Oversee management of fleet vehicle inventory to match sales forecasts and client orders.
  • Manage onboarding of new fleet clients ensuring clear communication and smooth relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local and international regulations related to vehicle sales, leasing, and operations.
  • Prepare and present fleet sales reports and analyses regularly to the General Manager of Fleet Sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key automotive brokers to expand sales reach.
  • Establish systems for evaluating fleet performance in line with Stellantis’s standards.
  • Develop comprehensive training programs on Stellantis products and sales policies.
  • Create incentive programs to motivate brokers to prioritize Stellantis vehicles.
  • Supervise broker contract drafting and management ensuring compliance and company interests protections.
  • Settle disputes between Stellantis and brokers efficiently and fairly.
  • Leverage broker networks for market intelligence and client feedback to guide strategic decisions.
  • Encourage brokers’ use of digital tools to improve sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Stellantis fleet vehicle specifications focusing on durability and total cost of ownership.
  • Communicate available customization options tailored to client needs.
  • Stay updated on technical changes to fleet models and ensure accurate information dissemination.
  • Advise clients expertly on vehicle selection and configuration according to operational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration mandatory.
  • Certification as a Certified Fleet Manager (CFM) is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in fleet sales management or associated roles.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic languages is required.
