Accountant

Overview

This role involves overseeing financial record-keeping, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The accountant contributes to budgeting and forecasting processes along with financial data analysis.

Key Duties

• Support the compilation of financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure all financial entries are promptly and accurately documented.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts by scrutinizing financial information.
• Assist in preparing budgets and projecting financial outcomes.
• Conduct financial analyses to aid management’s strategic choices.
• Help manage both accounts receivable and payable functions.
• Ensure compliance with pertinent financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with audit teams and prepare necessary audit documentation.
• Safeguard confidentiality concerning financial data.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or an ACCA qualification, along with a minimum of three years’ relevant experience. Proficiency in English is required.
