Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and practical Fleet Operations Driver to join our shift-based team in Hamburg. Your main role will be to deploy electric scooters throughout the city ensuring their availability, charging status, and safety for users. You will also handle rebalancing misplaced scooters and transporting damaged units back to the warehouse for maintenance. Your efforts will contribute to providing customers a smooth and safe last-mile transport experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate vans to collect, distribute, and swap batteries of electric scooters across the city.
- Ensure scooters are parked tidily, maintaining clear sidewalks and streets free from clutter.
- Locate lost scooters, evaluate their condition, and either return them to the warehouse or redeploy them in public locations.
- Conduct minor on-site repairs to maximize fleet availability.
- Support warehouse operations as needed to assist the broader team.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid EU category B driving license with proficiency in manual transmission vehicles.
- Demonstrate experienced, reliable driving skills with thorough knowledge of the local geography ensuring safety during transportation.
- Exhibit a proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong sense of accountability and problem-solving drive.
- Have good spoken English skills and familiarity using smartphones and mechanical tools.
- Prior professional driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
