Job Overview

Carry out various physical labor tasks at construction zones to facilitate safe and efficient worksite operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently install signage and barriers following training guidelines and instructions from traffic control supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and prepare construction areas to remove hazards.
• Manage the loading, unloading, and correct distribution of construction materials, machinery, and tools.
• Direct traffic around or near work zones after receiving proper training.
• Signal equipment operators to assist with correct placement and movement of machinery and materials, under trained protocols.
• Adhere strictly to safety practices as outlined in company policies and by supervisory staff.
• May involve walking long distances over uneven terrain.
• Driving motor vehicles may be part of the job responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability to follow specific instructions, perform a range of tasks that can frequently change, and maintain accuracy with repetitive tasks according to safety standards.
• Preferred completion of high school education; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Holding relevant certification aligned with State regulations is advantageous.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical exam is mandatory to confirm health and fitness for the role.
