About the Role and Location

This position is based at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort located in the serene emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Anantara Hotels & Resorts is a renowned global luxury hospitality brand inspired by Thai culture, emphasizing genuine warmth and exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Recreation Centre with professionalism and business focus, aligning with Anantara's goals and performance targets.
• Lead personalized fitness training sessions for guests and members.
• Conduct free and paid group fitness and sports classes such as HIIT, stretching, boot camp, and boxing to both hotel guests and members.
• Organize fitness and wellness events according to the monthly schedule and special occasions like Full Moon events.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the fitness center including machines and equipment.
• Sanitize fitness equipment when the Recreation Attendant is unavailable.
• Support other recreation facility operations as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Create and deliver customized exercise plans.
• Assist guests with proper exercise techniques to ensure safe practice.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations within the recreation center.
• Monitor and evaluate the success of activity programs through participation metrics and guest feedback, reporting outcomes to management.
• Inform guests about available events and activities.
• Foster strong cooperation with other hotel departments.
• Ensure accurate financial procedures for collecting and charging fees for sports and recreation services.
• Take on additional duties within sports and recreation as assigned by management.
• Contribute to revenue generation for the department.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Valid fitness instructor certification.
• Expertise in exercise methods, strength and cardiovascular training, and injury prevention.
• Capability to design safe and effective fitness programs for individual and group sessions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Physical fitness to demonstrate exercises properly.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service aptitude.
• Basic computer proficiency for managing client records and scheduling.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
