Job Overview
We are searching for skilled Junior to Mid-level Firmware and Embedded Engineers to join a growing medical technology company located in Cork, Ireland. The organization is well-funded and developing an innovative product aimed at preventing severe medical complications in specific age groups. This position involves working with IoT technologies to design, program, and deploy an early warning system that significantly enhances future health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Chief Technology Officer, fellow firmware engineers, and cross-functional teams including machine learning, ensuring the product complies with regulatory requirements and is consumer-ready.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in firmware or embedded systems development
- Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Practical knowledge of communication and network protocols
- Experience in Internet of Things (IoT) technologies
- Hands-on expertise with microcontrollers such as STM32
