Penetration Tester

Role Overview

As a Penetration Tester based in Dublin, you will conduct thorough security assessments involving a variety of environments such as web applications, mobile platforms, network infrastructure, cloud services, and Active Directory systems. You will lead or collaborate in Red Team and assumed-breach exercises, critically analyze system architecture and code for vulnerabilities, and deliver detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced manual penetration testing across diverse platforms including web, mobile, infrastructure, cloud, and Active Directory environments.
• Engage in Red Team and assumed-breach activities both independently and as part of a team.
• Evaluate architecture designs and review source code to identify security flaws.
• Prepare technical documentation and executive summaries, effectively communicating findings to clients.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level security testers, contributing to the development of internal security tools and methodologies.
• Assist pre-sales teams and occasionally provide onsite client support.

Candidate Profile

• Possess over five years of professional experience in penetration testing, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously.
• Exhibit strong manual testing capabilities beyond mere use of automated scanners.
• Have solid understanding of security principles related to Windows, Unix operating systems, and networking.
• Experience with scripting or programming, including languages such as Python, C#, Java, or PHP.
• Familiarity with cloud security environments.
• Hold relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CREST, or equivalent qualifications.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and confidence when presenting to clients.
