Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Fire Engineer to join our expanding Sydney team. This role offers engagement on diverse projects across multiple industries, encompassing all stages from initial concept and detailed design to construction oversight. The successful candidate will participate in:
- Conducting performance and prescriptive fire engineering design, including fire and smoke modeling, egress analysis, fire suppression, alarm and detection systems, external fire spread, and fire safety management.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards while promoting performance-based solutions to exceed client expectations.
- Building and nurturing positive relationships with clients and regulatory authorities across projects.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will have a degree or master's qualification in Fire Engineering, coupled with at least three years of relevant fire engineering experience within Australia. Prior exposure to performance-based design on large, complex projects is essential. Strong technical expertise, impressive communication abilities, and a proactive attitude towards teamwork and client engagement are key attributes.
