Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting.
• Handle payment transactions and monitor outstanding items.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve accounting issues.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB).
• Prepare VAT returns and statistical reports.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in process optimizations and digitalization projects within accounting.
• Maintain and ensure proper financial documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or advanced training as a financial accountant (m/w/d).
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting.
• Good knowledge of German commercial law (HGB).
• Confident use of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Structured, precise, and independent working style.
