About the Role
Join WSP in the Middle East as a Financial Analyst based in Sharjah or Dubai. This position plays a key role collaborating with the Financial Consolidation Manager and finance team across the region to review business performance, consolidate budgets and forecasts, conduct variance analyses, and support critical decision-making for central and commercial finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver analytical and consolidation assistance covering monthly management reporting, including performance evaluation at business unit, country, and entity levels across WSP Middle East.
- Identify fundamental performance drivers and conduct risk and opportunity evaluations to support business insights.
- Analyze major projects and consolidated KPI metrics through management reports and periodic business packs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Support the implementation of tools and methods to convert raw data into actionable business intelligence.
- Assist in preparing budgets and conducting quarterly forecasting activities.
- Contribute to balance sheet evaluations to ensure internal controls, governance, and audit compliance.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Qualified CFA, CPA, or CA professional with a minimum of 3 to 4 years’ relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within professional services, consulting, or engineering sectors.
- Excellent communication and report writing capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of general financial analysis concepts with strong analytical and technical competencies.
- Proficient with Oracle systems, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience using financial consolidation tools such as Hyperion.
- Detail-oriented with high analytical aptitude.
- Outstanding organizational skills with an ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
