Financial Analyst

About the Role

Join WSP Middle East as a Financial Analyst based in Dubai or Sharjah, contributing closely with the Financial Consolidation Manager and the wider regional finance team. This position demands a thorough review of business performance, budget and forecast consolidation, variance analysis, and pivotal support for decision-making within Central and Commercial Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver analytical and consolidation assistance for the Middle East operations, including the preparation and review of monthly management reports by business unit, country, and overall entity level.
• Assist the business in identifying critical performance drivers while assessing associated risks and opportunities.
• Perform in-depth analysis on major projects and consolidated KPI metrics, preparing detailed management reports and business packs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Implement and support tools and strategies that transform raw data into actionable business intelligence.
• Contribute to budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Support balance sheet reviews to ensure robust internal controls, governance, and audit compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certified CFA, CPA, or CA with 3 to 4 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within professional services, consulting, or engineering sectors.
• Excellent communication abilities paired with strong report writing skills.
• Solid practical understanding of financial analysis principles.
• Advanced technical skills including proficiency with Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and reporting consolidation platforms such as Hyperion.
• Meticulous analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational capabilities and adeptness at prioritization.
