Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Financial Advisor based in Galway to lead a team within a prominent financial planning and wealth management firm. This role offers a chance to manage a group of financial advisors, supported by brokerage-generated leads, with potential to earn team-wide commission bonuses ranging from 0,000 to ,00,000. The ideal candidate will be driven to deliver outstanding financial solutions and client outcomes while developing business and overseeing compliance within the Irish market.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored financial solutions to both new and existing clients according to their unique planning needs.
- Advise clients on protection products, savings and investments, pensions, and retirement plans, accommodating PAYE and self-employed individuals.
- Evaluate clients' financial status through comprehensive risk assessments and fact-finding to identify goals and objectives.
- Expand the client base by generating leads, obtaining referrals, and seeking new business opportunities.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Comply rigorously with internal firm policies as well as industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively source new business in life, investment, and pension products using commercial initiatives, with support available.
- Work towards agreed-upon targets and maintain high standards of service excellence.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience as a Financial Planner or Financial Advisor, ideally with brokerage experience.
- Mandatory qualification as a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA); Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credentials are preferred.
- In-depth expertise in life insurance, pension schemes, and investment offerings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Irish pension regulation and legislation.
- Experience using cash flow modelling software, preferably CashCalc.
- Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales and advisory targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational capabilities enabling effective time management and project oversight.
- Proven ability to collaborate within dynamic teams and handle stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
