Overview
Located in Dorset, this role offers a competitive salary between £50,000 and £58,000, dependent on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The position is ideal for experienced Financial Advisers who prefer to concentrate on delivering excellent financial counseling rather than generating new business. The successful candidate will join an established Wealth Management firm with a supportive team environment, benefit from paraplanning and administrative assistance, and have an existing client base to service immediately. Occasional travel to the Northampton office may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning advice covering pensions, investments, protection, and retirement strategies.
- Manage and nurture relationships with an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring client goals are understood and met.
- Conduct annual reviews and regular financial planning sessions with clients.
- Collaborate with paraplanning and administrative teams to prepare for client meetings.
- Work closely with internal support teams to optimize the client experience.
- Adhere to FCA regulations and Consumer Duty standards in all advisory services.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Establish and sustain trusted, long-term client relationships through high-quality service delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Holds at minimum a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or an equivalent qualification.
- Has prior practical experience as a Financial Adviser within Independent Financial Advisory (IFA), Wealth Management, or Financial Planning settings.
- Possesses robust expertise in pensions, investments, and protection products.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong client relationships.
- Committed to a client-focused approach ensuring favorable client outcomes.
- Good understanding and compliance knowledge concerning FCA regulation and Consumer Duty.
- Strong organizational capabilities and keen attention to detail.
- Must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
