About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity in Sheffield for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant seeking to transition from a Chartered Practice environment. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, reconcile balance sheets, and compile financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing variances.
- Handle accruals, prepayments, and record journal entries.
- Maintain compliance with statutory regulations, audits, and tax submissions.
- Provide support in cash flow management and treasury functions.
- Drive enhancements and automation initiatives within the finance department.
Candidate Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified with prior experience in Chartered Practice settings.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
- Commercially astute with the ability to manage financial controls while supporting business growth.
- Good problem-solving capabilities and effective communication skills.
