Overview
HireForce is collaborating with a prominent Irish manufacturing company based in County Mayo to recruit a qualified Financial Accountant. This role offers a comprehensive scope beyond traditional financial reporting, encompassing management reporting, consolidations, commercial analysis, financial systems, controls, and involvement in finance projects. The successful candidate will engage with both finance and operational teams for a well-rounded experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile monthly and quarterly financial statements and management accounts.
- Oversee reporting duties across various business entities.
- Contribute to group consolidation and the preparation of year-end financial reports.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and uphold stringent financial controls.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to analyze business performance.
- Help develop and improve internal financial control frameworks.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the audit process at year-end.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a recognized accounting qualification.
- Proficient in financial reporting, management accounting, and month-end procedures.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial control principles.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficient with financial systems.
