Financial Accountant

Overview

Elevate Partners is currently looking for a seasoned Financial Accountant to become a key member of their expanding finance team based in South Dublin. In this role, you will assist the Head of Finance and gain extensive experience in financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, treasury management, and oversight of international fund activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing, manage treasury activities, and handle accounts receivable and payable.
• Compile monthly management accounts along with financial forecasts for internal review and external reporting.
• Prepare tax submissions including payroll tax, VAT, and corporation tax across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating with external service providers when needed.
• Coordinate the preparation of annual financial statements and communicate with external accountants and auditors as necessary.
• Support administration of collective investment funds, interacting regularly with service providers, directors’ boards, and auditors.
• Prepare financial documentation for submission to regulatory bodies.
• Perform various ad hoc financial and accounting duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of five years’ experience combined with a recognized professional accountancy qualification.
• Proven background in the financial services sector.
• Strong attention to detail complemented by an analytical approach.
• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business and team dynamics.
