About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-established organisation based in Little Island, Cork. This is a comprehensive finance position reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager, offering significant involvement in various financial and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and overseeing the month-end close process.
- Conducting budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
- Monitoring cash flow and managing working capital efficiently.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handling VAT, VIES, and Intrastat requirements and reports.
- Undertaking pricing and margin analysis to inform business decisions.
- Partnering with senior management on business strategies and operational decisions.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified accountant holding ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
- Possess more than 3 years of post-qualification experience, particularly valued within manufacturing, production, or similar operational environments.
