Role Overview

Reporting to a highly accomplished Financial Controller, this role is integral to a high-performing team responsible for financial management and fund-level reporting for multi-asset or single asset property funds across New Zealand and Australia. Collaboration with the asset management team is essential to provide robust financial support.

Key Duties

• Preparation and delivery of financial, management, and board reports.
• Managing budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Acting as a business partner to investment teams.
• Performing feasibility analyses for acquisitions and divestments.
• Leading financial input for Product Disclosure Statements related to capital raising.
• Overseeing tax and treasury functions.
• Monitoring cash flow and liquidity status.
• Providing leadership, mentorship, and coaching to staff.
• Undertaking ad-hoc assignments as required by the business.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with substantial experience in financial reporting roles.
• Experience or exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business partnering, or treasury functions is advantageous.
• Background in the property sector is preferred.
• A blend of professional services and corporate experience is highly regarded.
• Confident communicator capable of translating complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
