Role Overview

The Finance Manager will play a strategic leadership role by managing the financial strategy, governance, and operational performance of our Saudi Arabian operations. This position requires extensive experience in pharmaceutical finance, familiarity with regulated markets, complex supply chains, and adherence to global compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the financial strategy in line with overarching global business goals.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and Board to foster sustainable growth, profitability, and enhance shareholder value.
• Offer strategic financial analysis for investments, mergers & acquisitions, and regional expansion within GCC and Middle East.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts.
• Monitor business performance through variance analysis and financial tracking.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and Saudi Arabian financial regulations.
• Maintain stringent internal controls and corporate governance.
• Manage financial compliance related to pharmaceutical laws and pricing regulations.
• Oversee financial management of API and formulation divisions, including cost control, margin optimization, and pricing strategies.
• Support supply chain finance, inventory control, and optimize working capital.
• Implement cost-efficiency measures without sacrificing quality or regulatory compliance.
• Develop risk management frameworks and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Supervise internal and external audits ensuring full audit readiness.
• Engage with investors, financial institutions, auditors and regulators effectively.
• Support capital raising, financing, and optimize capital structure.
• Report comprehensive financial performance and strategic outlook to the Board.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team across locations.
• Promote a culture centered on accountability, transparency, and ongoing improvement.
• Mentor senior finance personnel and prepare succession plans.

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant, CPA, MBA in Finance or equivalent.
• Between 3 to 8 years of progressive leadership experience in finance.
• Specialized experience in pharmaceutical industry sectors like API and formulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GCC and Middle Eastern markets, ideally with Saudi Arabian experience.
• Experience working in USFDA and SFDA regulated environments.
• Successful track record managing large-scale financial operations and transformational projects.
