Finance Manager

About the Role

Shenme Salon & Spa Private Limited seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage their financial operations in Varanasi. The role entails responsibility for accurate accounting, controlling cash flow, budgeting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting across multiple branches and business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting transactions and maintain comprehensive financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, income, and expenses.
• Review and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and accounting documents.
• Conduct bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations regularly.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and MIS reports for management review.
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and identify discrepancies.
• Formulate and monitor budgets, ensuring expenses align with approved financial plans.
• Identify and recommend cost control strategies to manage operational expenditures.
• Supervise receivables and payables, ensure timely collections and vendor payments, maintaining accurate aging reports.
• Ensure statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI, coordinating with external consultants and auditors.
• Assist with preparation and submission of statutory returns and audit documentation.
• Coordinate payroll processing with HR, verify salary components, and ensure timely payments and statutory deductions.
• Manage internal and external audit processes and establish financial controls and approval workflows.
• Manage banking activities, cash flow, and related transaction documentation.
• Lead finance and accounts team, liaise with HR, operations, sales, and management to resolve finance-related issues promptly while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Advanced qualifications such as M.Com, MBA Finance, or CA Intermediate are advantageous.
• Minimum of four years' experience in finance and accounts, preferably managing multi-branch or multi-business-unit finances.
• Experience in service, education, beauty, or media industries is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

• Deep understanding of accounting standards and financial management principles.
• Proficient knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI regulations.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets, along with accounting software proficiency.
• Strong analytical, numerical, budgeting, and financial planning capabilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information and solve financial issues effectively.
• Capability to manage multiple business units and branches efficiently.
