Finance Director (Manufacturing)

About the Role

A leading global oil and gas manufacturing organization is seeking a Finance Director to join their team in Singapore. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior financial leader will oversee comprehensive financial management across multiple international entities. The role involves ensuring accounting governance, statutory compliance, financial reporting accuracy, and serving as a strategic visionary driving sustainable growth and financial success, with potential involvement in steering the company toward an IPO.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage financial planning, budgeting, and treasury activities.
• Oversee accounting, internal and external audits, and compliance frameworks.
• Prepare and review financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement controls to ensure regulatory compliance and financial governance.
• Manage supply chain financing and optimize working capital for cost efficiency.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and tax compliance efforts, including tax strategy development.
• Assess financial risks, monitor key performance indicators, and conduct in-depth financial analyses.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and contribute to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, with a potential work base in both Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 15 years' extensive experience in financial leadership roles.
• Proven background in the manufacturing sector is mandatory.
• Experience with Merger & Acquisition (M&A) processes and IPO preparations is highly advantageous.
• Prior work experience in Dubai is required.
