Role Overview
This critical leadership position calls for a business-minded executive combining strategic financial expertise with a strong hands-on approach. The incumbent will actively contribute to the company’s further professionalization, drive key transformation and growth initiatives, and play a pivotal role in securing long-term corporate success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as a member of the executive management team with overall responsibility for finance
- Acts as a strategic and operational advisor to executive management, the holding company, and shareholders
- Leads and develops the departments of Finance, IT, and HR across locations in Germany and Hungary
- Accountable for financial closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Manages liquidity, cash flow, and financing issues
- Advances KPIs, reporting, and controlling tools
- Optimizes and digitizes financial and business processes
- Supports investment projects as well as M&A and due diligence processes
- Coordinates collaboration with banks, auditors, and tax advisors
Candidate Profile
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in a senior finance position within a manufacturing industrial company
- Strong operational expertise in accounting and controlling
- Experience in an international production environment
- Proven track record in advancing finance organizations and reporting structures
- Confident in budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
- Experience working with banks, auditors, and investors
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong execution skills
- Distinct hands-on mentality
- Fluent in both German and English (negotiation-level)
