About the Position
Join CBRE as a Finance Director for the APAC region, focusing on Data Center Solutions. This role involves oversight and management of financial functions within the department, contributing directly to financial strategy and operations by maintaining accounting, reporting policies, and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise employees, including guiding training and development, performing evaluations, coaching, recruiting, and hiring efforts.
- Organize and oversee daily team tasks, creating work schedules, assigning duties, cross-training staff, and ensuring deadlines are met while providing mentorship.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and routine management reporting processes.
- Evaluate feedback from team members and business partners to support strategic planning activities.
- Collaborate with management to set priorities and develop financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee preparation and delivery of financial reports.
- Partner with Operations teams to drive business initiatives.
- Manage capital expenditure projects consistent with company guidelines.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of business functions and financial drivers to enhance departmental and cross-functional outcomes.
- Exemplify CBRE RISE values, motivate colleagues, and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- Address complex operational and organizational challenges by leveraging appropriate resources.
- Innovate and improve existing methods and standards within the scope of the role.
Candidate Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor's degree with 8-12 years relevant experience; equivalent education and experience combinations will also be considered.
- Experience with staffing processes including selection, training, development, mentoring, performance appraisal, and retention strategies.
- Ability to communicate sensitive and complex information clearly, manage performance issues, and resolve problems.
- Strong leadership skills for managing targets impacting multiple departments and functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional organizational abilities combined with a curious and analytical mindset.
- Advanced numeracy skills including calculations involving percentages, fractions, and financial data.
