Finance Director

Overview

We are recruiting for a Finance Director position within a reputable manufacturing company located in West Yorkshire. This key leadership role involves partnering closely with the Managing Director to shape the company's strategic direction while overseeing a high-performing finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all financial operations including reporting, internal controls, planning, and analysis.
• Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes to facilitate well-informed business decisions.
• Work alongside operational teams to enhance profitability, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Lead and implement business improvement and transformation initiatives throughout the organization.
• Build and develop a commercially driven finance team that actively contributes value to the broader business objectives.
• Serve as a trusted member of the senior leadership team, participating in strategic planning and long-term decision-making.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Finance Director or experienced Head of Finance ready to step into a Finance Director role.
• Background in manufacturing or another operationally focused sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at Board level.
• Hands-on approach and readiness to engage in operational details when necessary.
