Role Overview

The Finance Business Partner is a strategic global role reporting to the Finance Business Partnering Manager. This position delivers key financial advice, commercial support, and strategic insights that inform business decisions across Zespri operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business leaders to offer financial guidance and actionable recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for main cost centres.
• Assist shipping and supply chain teams with cost evaluation, forecasting, and report generation.
• Evaluate financial performance, pinpointing trends, potential risks, and growth opportunities.
• Create business cases, build financial models, and perform investment analyses.
• Champion ongoing improvements in processes and reporting mechanisms.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Shipping, People, and senior management.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in finance, commercial analysis, or business partnering within sizeable, complex organisations.
• Excellent financial analysis capabilities, alongside solid experience in forecasting and budgeting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems and reporting technologies.
• Ability to transform financial data into transparent and impactful commercial insights.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with business leaders and influencing decision-making processes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal relationship skills.
• A proactive approach, embracing continuous improvement and emerging technologies including AI.
