About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Administrator for a reputable organization in Tuas, Singapore, to join on a one-year contract. This role involves providing critical administrative and financial support for engineering and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects proceed smoothly by managing precise financial documentation, monitoring expenditures, and aiding budget oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently process purchase requisitions and invoices to facilitate timely payments and accurate financial tracking related to engineering and CAPEX projects.
- Diligently track and maintain up-to-date financial records for project expenses, aiding budget monitoring and reporting.
- Organize and maintain project documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards and accessibility.
- Support budget monitoring by preparing reports and assisting with variance analysis as requested by project managers.
- Adhere strictly to company financial policies and internal controls, including cooperation with scheduled audits.
- Assist project managers with regular administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, agenda preparation, and communication coordination to support smooth project operations.
- Collaborate with various teams to share information, resolve queries, and encourage a cooperative problem-solving environment.
- Respond promptly and reliably to stakeholders' requests for financial information and documentation.
- Contribute ideas to improve administrative processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate actively in team meetings and training to broaden knowledge, share best practices, and strengthen interpersonal relationships.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in finance administration within engineering or project-driven environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with financial software to handle purchase requisitions and invoice processing accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain multiple project documents current and well-managed.
- Exceptional attention to detail for exact tracking of expenditures and accurate reporting.
- Ability to comply with established financial procedures and controls to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities to work effectively with project managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.
- Reliability in responding timely to information requests, demonstrating commitment to service quality.
- Experience with budget report preparation and variance analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems to optimize record keeping.
- Eagerness to engage in ongoing training and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
