About the Role
ASK Technology Ltd, a respected electronics manufacturing company located in Basingstoke, is seeking a Final Inspector to join their team. This position is tailored for individuals with experience in electronic production who are eager to enhance their skills and advance professionally within a collaborative and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough final inspections on assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Verify production documentation and associated paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
- Detect defects and undertake rework tasks when feasible.
- Ensure that all completed products comply with the established quality benchmarks and workmanship criteria.
Candidate Profile
- Practical experience conducting PCB inspections adhering to IPC Class 3 standards.
- Familiarity with PCB assembly processes.
Even if candidates do not fulfil every listed qualification but demonstrate strong potential, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn, their applications will be considered carefully.
Employment Details and Benefits
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (totaling 40 hours per week).
- Annual leave starts at 20 days plus eight statutory bank holidays.
- Incremental additional leave: one extra day per year of service up to a total of 25 days annually.
- Christmas holiday shutdown covering several days; three days are deducted from annual leave.
