Job Overview

Cater Care is looking for motivated FIFO Cooks to work at their remote village located at Randalls Village (Emu Flat, Kalgoorlie), Western Australia. This full-time position operates on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, with shifts ranging between 10 to 11.5 hours. Employees will fly in from Perth or drive in from Kalgoorlie. The remuneration package ranges between $79,000 and $80,000 per year plus superannuation. Accommodation, meals, and uniforms are provided, supporting a balanced work-life arrangement and strong saving potential.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and present meals including breakfast, crib, dinner, and special functions.
• Follow dietary requirements carefully, handling allergies and special requests.
• Support stock management including ordering, rotation, and stocktaking.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and equipment in line with food safety standards.
• Abide by all legislated food hygiene and workplace safety regulations.
• Deliver fast, efficient, and friendly service to team members and customers.
• Provide assistance to the broader team as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience as a cook.
• Food Safety Certification is preferred.
• Trade qualifications are advantageous.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional approach.
