Field Service Technician

About the Role

Role involves the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators and associated equipment to guarantee their safe and effective functioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and upkeep of elevator systems.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical elevator parts to detect issues.
• Identify and resolve breakdowns and technical faults.
• Carry out repairs and replace faulty components as needed.
• Respond to customer service requests and emergency breakdown calls within designated areas.
• Follow scheduled preventive maintenance plans.
• Adhere strictly to company safety guidelines during all work processes.
• Document maintenance activities, service reports, and breakdown records accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and escalate significant technical problems to senior engineers.
• Ensure proper handling and upkeep of tools and equipment.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, providing basic explanations of service matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• ITI or Diploma qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related technical fields.
• Experience in elevator or lift servicing is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Willingness to travel within assigned locations as needed.
• Both freshers with suitable ITI qualifications and experienced candidates (up to 3 years) are eligible.

Compensation

Salary offered ranges between 10,000 to 15,000 INR monthly, depending on experience and company standards.
