Job Description
We are urgently seeking Field Network Engineers to join Airtel's team across multiple locations in Bangalore. The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment to ensure seamless connectivity and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer and network sites to carry out installation and maintenance services.
- Install, maintain, and resolve issues with Airtel network devices including Fiber, Broadband, Wi-Fi, routers, and connectivity components.
- Conduct network testing and perform initial problem-solving at customer premises.
- Detect and fix problems related to connectivity, signal strength, and equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with Network Operation Center and technical support teams to resolve complex problems.
- Configure and replace network devices as necessary.
- Maintain accurate daily records of service activities and status updates.
- Travel throughout assigned areas within Bangalore for field visits.
- Adhere to Airtel's safety guidelines, quality standards, and service procedures.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Candidates with ITI, Diploma, any Degree, or technical qualification are eligible.
- Fresh graduates with fundamental networking knowledge are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in telecom, broadband, fiber optics, or networking will be considered advantageous.
- Basic understanding of routing, LAN/WAN networks, and Wi-Fi technologies is essential.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities and communication skills are required.
- Possession of a bike and a valid driving license is preferred or required for travel.
Compensation and Benefits
- Fixed take-home salary of ₹27,000 per month.
- CTC of ₹31,000 per month.
