Job description

Overview

Advance your retail merchandising career through a full-time position supporting in-store execution for a leading consumer packaged goods client. This role involves a variety of merchandising duties, including stocking shelves and creating product displays, to maintain adequate product availability and ensure stores follow planogram standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out merchandising activities in-store according to planograms and schematic designs, including store resets.
  • Organize daily work by setting priorities, reviewing call objectives, and preparing necessary tools and materials to meet deadlines.
  • Verify promotion displays meet compliance, identify sales opportunities, address out-of-stock and shelf voids by optimizing shelf placement and displays, including positioning of point-of-sale materials. Also check product expiration dates and rotate stock as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication with store personnel about merchandising tasks, sales promotions, client goals, and accomplishments.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and cultivate positive working relationships with store staff to fulfill company and client expectations.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience in merchandising or sales roles is preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Physical capability to lift 30 to 50 pounds and stand for extended durations.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
