Team Environment - Yard Operations
The Yard Operations team conducts numerous live auctions annually worldwide. Successful multimillion-dollar auctions rely on a dedicated, energetic workforce encompassing various full-time and part-time roles such as equipment inspectors, yard managers, operators, administrative personnel, and customer service agents.
Role Overview
The Field Inspector II primarily assists with inspections for RBA event TAL, RBA event DEI, and online basic items at RBA sites. Utilizing the iInspector application, the inspector collects detailed information and high-quality images for different inspection products. The role demands suitable experience operating equipment.
Regular communication with Inspection Logistic Coordinators and regional inspectors is vital to prioritize workflow within a collaborative team setting. Additional duties include preparing equipment for sale, supporting yard staff, and receiving on-the-job training aimed at progression to a Level 3 inspector.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the iInspector platform to perform inspections of various equipment and inspection product types
- Provide assistance to Level 3 and Level 4 inspectors with remote inspections or onsite preparation tasks
- Contribute support during auction day operations
- Identify specific equipment types to select accurate inspection checklists ensuring content precision
- Evaluate equipment conditions thoroughly to deliver comprehensive descriptions
- Address and resolve issues concerning equipment identification and readiness
- Troubleshoot technical problems related to the iInspector application and inspection content processing
- Organize daily responsibilities efficiently to facilitate smooth sale processing for multichannel products
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience within the relevant equipment industry or environment
