Job Summary

The Field Coordination Specialist will manage and oversee the office-based control center of field data collection operations conducted by Field Supervisors and workers across multiple commercial and industrial sites. This role entails full ownership of daily operational output, including schedules, site status, escalations, targets, documentation, and payroll. The selected candidate will be accountable for maximizing usable footage collected at every site on a daily basis and resolving field issues quickly from the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and govern daily field deployments including supervisors, workers, equipment, and site timings.
• Provide real-time support and direction to Field Supervisors to solve location access, equipment, and personnel challenges during collection.
• Monitor actual collection hours against expected daily and weekly targets per site, escalating issues promptly with proposed remedies.
• Maintain field workforce schedules encompassing leave, absentee substitutes, shift assignments, and off-day planning.
• Manage travel logistics and authorize travel allowance claims adhering to company policies and cost-efficiency goals.
• Accurately prepare and process weekly payments for workers based on collected data and site-specific pay rates.
• Ensure all necessary documentation such as consent forms and site permissions are completed before initiating collections.
• Collaborate with Logistics for equipment dispatch and returns, and coordinate with Processing and Quality Control teams regarding data and footage status.
• Handle re-shoot operations when content is rejected by QC to meet deadlines without compromising client relationships.
• Maintain detailed daily field reports and shift handovers and share performance summaries with internal operations teams.
• Facilitate onboarding of new sites and Field Supervisors to ensure prompt productivity.
• Analyze cost effectiveness and productivity metrics by location and supervisor, recommending improvements to optimize output.
• Promptly escalate ongoing field, supplier, or staffing difficulties to the Operations Manager with actionable solutions.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

• Must hold an MBA or PGDM specializing in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Requires 1 to 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, field coordination, supply chain management, workforce handling, dispatch, or similar operational roles with on-ground exposure.
• The role suits individuals familiar with real-world operational challenges and quick resolution tactics, not fresh graduates.

Essential Skills

• Strong passion for hands-on interaction with ground teams rather than just remote management.
• Fluent spoken Hindi and Marathi; proficient written and verbal English for reporting and client communications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including tracking, use of formulas, and basic financial and productivity analysis.
• Excellent written communication skills for composing clear daily reports and escalation notes.
• Capable of maintaining composure and sound judgement when dealing with multiple simultaneous issues.
• Ability to enforce targets with Field Supervisors in a manner that avoids hostility or conflicts.
• High numerical accuracy for hours tracking, travel allowance calculations, and payroll processing.
• Strong ownership and decision-making capacity within defined authority, without constant approvals.
• Familiarity with workplace collaboration platforms such as Slack or Notion is beneficial.

Work Schedule and Conditions

• Five working days per week, nine hours per day including a 30-minute break.
• Shift rotations among morning (approximately 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), evening (approximately 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM), and night (approximately 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM) according to project requirements.
• Office-based position requiring onsite presence and periodic site visits.
