Field Application Engineer (Mandarin Required)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Field Application Engineer proficient in Mandarin to join our team in Singapore. This role will focus on supporting new technology projects, interfacing with headquarters teams, and facilitating local customer engagements in the display technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate new technology initiatives, collaborating with headquarters to support local meetings and demonstration events aimed at securing project awards.
• Partner with headquarters and clients' display teams to assist in the collection of display panel data as per customer requirements.
• Conduct initial failure analysis at the customer's location to troubleshoot display device issues.
• Provide support during local customer meetings to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
• Assist sales and project management colleagues with related technical and customer support tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of two years’ experience in technical or engineering roles within the display industry.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in resolving issues related to display devices and systems.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively across cultures.
• Proficiency in English as a working language is required; knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is highly advantageous.
