Field Application Engineer - Analog and Power Specialist

Role Overview

Future Electronics is seeking a Specialist Field Application Engineer with expertise in Analog and Power to join our Advanced Engineering team based in Stuttgart. This role offers a unique chance to work closely with a portfolio of leading semiconductor manufacturers delivering innovative technology solutions to a diverse range of industries including automotive, industrial, military, commercial, medical, and lighting sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver application and design solutions to customers by leveraging previous design experience and product knowledge gained through education and manufacturer-led training seminars
• Engage with original equipment manufacturers across various market segments, recommending engineering solutions that meet technical requirements and drive project success
• Collaborate with and receive mentoring from senior Advanced Engineers, Advanced Engineering Managers, and supplier experts to build expertise and grow within the role

Candidate Profile

• Outstanding communication skills in both English and German, both spoken and written
• Degree qualification in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of five years’ practical design experience within the electronics industry or field application environment
• Strong background in Analog and/or Power electronics design
• Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive mindset focused on delivering results and solving complex technical problems
• Passionate about supporting fellow engineers in successfully bringing projects to market
